What is the Riverside County Transportation Efficiency Corridor (RCTEC)?

Recognizing the significant traffic congestion that Riverside County residents face every day, the State of California has dedicated $427   million to improve five major transportation projects. Three of the major transportation projects will impact the City of Eastvale significantly in hopes to improving traffic congestion.

With funding secure, work is now underway to prepare and approve complex environmental reviews, engineering designs, and construction contracts for each project. The State of California, Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC), County of Riverside, and other stakeholders are implementing new innovative strategies to accelerate completion of the projects.

These stakeholders include the following lead agencies: Riverside County Transportation Commission, County of Riverside Transportation Department and City of Corona; and the following partner agencies: Caltrans, County of Riverside, City of Norco, City of Eastvale, City of Jurupa Valley, California State Transportation Agency, California Senate District 31- Senator Richard D. Roth and California Assembly District 60- Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes.

  1. 15/91 Express Lanes Connector*
  2. McKinley Avenue Grade Separation
  3. Jurupa Road Grade Separation
  4. I-15/Limonite Avenue Interchange*
  5. Hamner Bridge Widening*

*Directly impacts the City of Eastvale
