PRINCIPAL ENGINEER

The Principal Engineer will serve as a key member of the City’s Public Works/Engineering Department and will contribute to the maintenance and operation of the City’s infrastructure as well as take ownership of the execution, delivery, and reporting of high-priority capital infrastructure projects. 

SALARY RANGE:

$154,629.57 - $193,111.15 Annually

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and registration in California as a Professional Engineer. A master’s degree in a field related to Civil Engineering is desirable. 

EXPERIENCE: Four or more years of responsible professional civil engineering experience, including experience with public works projects and three years of supervisory experience.

CERTIFICATIONS: Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) with the California State Board of Registration for Civil and Professional Engineers required.

COMMUNITY SERVICES & RECREATION LEADER

The Community Services & Recreation Leader I will serve as a key member of the City’s Community Services & Recreation Division and will contribute by supporting the planning and execution of inclusive, diverse, family-friendly events. This individual will do so with a “can do” attitude and “get it done” approach to work in a fast-paced environment while working closely with a talented, energetic, and highly engaged team of City talent.

 

SALARY RANGE:

$21.96 - $27.43 Hourly

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED AND two (2) years of college course work at an accredited college being preferred. One (1) year of recreation programming or facility maintenance experience is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: No prior experience required. However, some experience (paid or unpaid) related to the area assigned is highly desirable.

 

SENIOR ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

The Senior Accounting Technician will serve as a key member of the Finance Department by performing complex technical accounting work and supporting the City’s daily financial operations. 

SALARY RANGE:

$70,166.35 - $87,628.15  Annually

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or satisfactory equivalent, supplemented by college level coursework in accounting or related field. 

EXPERIENCE: Three years of general or accounting experience, including some statistical or financial record keeping. Municipal accounting experience preferred.

STREETS MAINTENANCE WORKER

The Streets Maintenance Worker will serve as a key member of the Public Works department by assisting in the operational maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, and all other City infrastructure.

 

SALARY RANGE:

* $54,813.84 - $68,454.97 Annually

* Salary as of July 1 , 2026 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE: Two years of street maintenance or construction experience.
