Andrew has proudly called Eastvale home since 2010. He and his wife, Susie, have three children, ages 13, 10, and 8. Andrew is deeply involved in Eastvale’s youth sports programs, which he believes plays a vital role in fostering teamwork and character development among children. One of Andrew’s proudest moments was when his son Gavin was a member of Eastvale’s Little League team that came within one game of reaching the Little League World Series.
Beyond sports, Andrew actively contributes to the community as a board member of his homeowner’s association and as a Neighborhood Watch block captain. His commitment to creating a safe and connected neighborhood underscores his dedication to Eastvale’s well-being.
Professionally, Andrew brings over 26 years of experience in law enforcement experience and public safety management. He has risen through the ranks to his current position as a Captain with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD). In this role, he oversees the LASD’s Contract Law Enforcement Bureau, which manages multiple law enforcement contracts to public safety services meet the highest standards. His leadership is rooted in integrity, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to public safety.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration. This strong educational foundation complements his extensive field experience, allowing him to approach complex public safety challenges with a strategic and thoughtful perspective.
As Eastvale’s Public Safety Commissioner, Andrew is honored to serve the city he and his family proudly call home. He is committed to enhancing public safety, fostering strong community partnerships, and ensuring Eastvale remains a safe, family-friendly city for generations to come.
