Christian Dinco and his wife Judith have been residents of Eastvale for 17 years. They have four children, Savannah (25), Delaney (23), who both attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School, and Connor (19), who is attending college at California Baptist University, and Brady (17) who attends Ontario Christian High School.
Christian was elected to the Eastvale City Council in 2020 and was previously the chairman of Eastvale’s Public Safety Commission and served on the commission for four years from 2017-2020. Christian is served as Eastvale's Mayor for 2024 and started his second four-year council term starting November 2024.
Christian holds a Bachelor’s degree from California Baptist University in Leadership and Public Administration, and retired from law enforcement after a 30 year career.
He previously worked at Orange County Sheriff’s Department for 3 years and retired as a Lieutenant with Riverside Police Department after 27 years of service (2022). Some of his assignments included Watch Commander (patrol), as SWAT Commander managed the Aviation, SWAT, Parole and Corrections Team, Hostage Negotiations Team, and a UAV (drone) program. He previously worked as a detective in investigations, narcotics, auto theft, property crimes, SWAT, various major investigations, community services bureau, and press information officer.
Christian currently works at California Baptist University as Assistant Director of Safety Services.
He has previously served on the Eastvale Little League Board of Directors where he served for 15 years, and was the president for 8 years, and vice president for 4 years. He previously coached at Eastvale Little League for 10 years, was a youth soccer coach with Empire Soccer, coached with Friday Night Lights youth flag football, and with Eastvale’s Pop Warner football program.
Christian states he is dedicated to community service and is proud to serve Eastvale as a City Council member.
