This collaborative session brought together the City Council, Executive Team, staff, and community members to identify and prioritize Eastvale’s most pressing needs and opportunities.

Building on past efforts, the workshop reaffirmed key priorities while refining goals to better reflect the community’s evolving expectations.

Plan Adoption and Focus Areas

On June 25, 2025, the Eastvale City Council formally adopted the 2025 Strategic Plan, which outlines the City’s strategic vision and guides operations, budgeting, and decision-making.

The updated plan focuses on seven core areas:

  • Public Safety

  • Economic Development

  • Financial Planning

  • Inclusion

  • Infrastructure

  • Innovation & Technology

  • Organizational Development

The Mayor and Council Members identified and ranked priority goals into three levels:

  • Priority Level 1 (6 goals) Includes projects like constructing the Civic Center, building a police substation, and creating "Destination Eastvale."

  • Priority Level 2 (2 goals)  Focused on branding Eastvale and improving traffic flow around schools.

  • Priority Level 3 (3 goals) Emphasizes cultural events, Smart City efforts, long-term financial planning, and more.

The Strategic Plan is designed to be dynamic adapting as new challenges and opportunities arise. It serves as both a compass and a commitment: aligning City resources with community values and keeping progress on track through quarterly updates to the City Council.
