October 4, 2019
EASTVALE, CA – Chef Steve Brown, an Inland Empire native who traveled the world to learn his culinary craft, is now bringing it back for the first time to the Inland Empire. Cosecha SD will host a unique 9-course A5 Japanese Wagyu dining experience right here in Eastvale for the community and region to enjoy. The four-day event will take place October 24-27, 2019.
“We bring meat lovers the truest, most sought after, tantalizing Japanese beef to their city to enjoy an elegant experience you cannot find anywhere else,” said Chef Steve Brown.

Cosecha SD and pop-up legend, Chef Steve Brown, featured on Food & Wine, started in June 2016 as a traveling, multi-course supper club and has turned into a successful business taking his experience on the road with events throughout the U.S. and Canada. Cosecha means “harvest” in Spanish and the tasting menu format will be based on the harvest of Chef Steve Brown’s farms: Wild Willow Farm, Agua Dulce Farms and local, foraged ingredients.
The menu will showcase the best wagyu beef from around the world, local seafood and produce from Cosecha SD’s farms, with delicious wine pairings. The Supper Club allows Chef Brown to think outside the box and personalize each dish with local ingredients. He designs his menu based on the seasons and what is grown in the area each event is held. This will be an experience like none other! Tickets are available for purchase at www.cosechasd.com.
“This is a great opportunity for a premier Chef to highlight his talent in our area, giving our residents an opportunity to experience and taste something that doesn’t yet exist in the Inland Empire,” said City Manager, Bryan Jones.
This pop-up restaurant event will be held at a City-owned property located at 13200 Citrus Avenue and will serve as a pilot program for the potential future use of the property. There are several potential future options for the use of this property, including a City-owned and operated special event venue. The City currently utilizes the property, which was acquired in January 2019 for City Hall related operations and storage. This event will allow the City the opportunity to gain preliminary data on the feasibility of using this property as a dedicated special event venue in the future. This is the first opportunity for the public to experience this property along the Santa Ana River in five decades. This property used to be home to a famous horse race track and thoroughbred training stables prior to the 1982 flood and often hosted celebrities from Hollywood.
