On February 07, 2019 at 12:02 PM, the Eastvale Police Department responded to a burglary in progress call on Peach Blossom Street. The victim stated he had visual from his surveillance video system of an unknown male inside his residence. The victim was not home at the time.
Officers from the Eastvale Police Department arrived within minutes, but the suspect fled prior to their arrival. Officers searched the area with the help from a Sheriff’s K-9 and helicopter.
The victim shared a photograph of the suspect on social media and an anonymous citizen approached officers who recognized the suspect. The suspect, a 17-year-old Eastvale resident, was subsequently apprehended hiding inside a nearby home. The suspect was later booked into Riverside County Juvenile Hall for burglary and for violating his probation.
