CNUSD Superintendent Search

Public Input Requested

Post Date:04/13/2012 4:00 PM

The Corona-Norco Unified School District Board of Education approved the hiring of executive search firm Leadership Associates to spearhead the process of selecting a new superintendent for the district to replace Dr. Kent Bechler, who announced he will be retiring this August.

Leadership Associates will first conduct input sessions with community members, parents and staff to determine some of the desired qualities and experience the public and school community are looking for with the new superintendent. They will then present a summary to the Board, and the Board would determine whether to proceed with a full search or modify the process.

Community input about the desired characteristics to be used in recruiting and selecting this person is requested.

Three interactive public forums are being hosted by Leadership Associates in two locations on Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17 (see below). Note: It is not necessary to attend both forums.
