Eastvale Police Department Adds a New Team Member

EASTVALE, CA (March 21, 2012) - The City of Eastvale in conjunction with the Eastvale Police Department are pleased to announce the addition of a new team member to the traffic team.

Community Service Officer Graciela “Grace” Abeyta was recently assigned to the Eastvale Police Department’s dedicated traffic team. CSO Abeyta will be providing traffic related patrol by enforcing parking violations, investigating traffic collisions, and providing traffic safety education to the residents of Eastvale. CSO Abeyta has extensive experience working in law enforcement as follows: 

  • Abeyta started her career in 1977 with the Santa Ana Police Department 
  • Abeyta transferred to the Brea Police Department in 1989 
  • She joined Riverside County Sheriff’s Department in 2006 and was assigned to the Lake Elsinore Station 
  • She transferred to the Jurupa Valley Station in 2007

CSO Abeyta, who is bilingual in Spanish, has been trained in several courses related to traffic accident investigation. CSO Abeyta is a respected member of the Department and was recently chosen as the Jurupa Valley Station’s “Classified Employee of the Quarter” for her demonstration of professionalism and hard work. The Eastvale Police Department is proud to have CSO Abeyta as a member of their team.
