Military Support Groups

Supporting our Armed Forces & Their Families

As military families, you often have loved ones who are deployed in far away locations or know of those who do. To ensure these brave men and women know they are appreciated, the following are organizations and programs which support our troops and their families.

BLUE STAR MOTHERS: Teri Figueroa (951) 347-9234 or e-mail: TeriFigueroaBSM@aol.com
The Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. has a long history of supporting our troops and their families. Formed in 1942, the non-profit organization has been instrumental in supporting the troops by conducting projects throughout the year such as creating and sending military troop care packages to demonstrate how much we appreciate the sacrifice of those who are serving our country and to provide small comforts from home for those who are often deployed in far away destinations.

OPERATION COMMUNITY CARES: (909) 772-5451 or www.OperationCommunityCares.net
The mission of Operation Community Cares is to support our troops across the globe through care packages and letters as well as providing support for those who are no longer serving. The organization sends care packages throughout the year and is asking for volunteers to “adopt a solider” or financial contributions to enable them to continue their mission.

UNITED SUPPORT ORGANIZATION (USO): www.USO.org
One of the most widely recognized and respected military support organizations, the USO offers a variety of programs and services for American troops and their families around the world. Please visit their site for more information and how you can be involved.

CITY OF EASTVALE MILITARY BANNER PROGRAM: info@eastvaleca.gov
The City of Eastvale’s Military Banner Program recognizes and honors residents and their immediate family members who are on active duty in the United States Armed Forces. There are currently 50 banners on display, illustrating the service of many of our nation’s finest. The Eastvale Community Foundation operates this program at no cost to the families through their fundraising efforts and donations. For additional details, please visit our Military Banner page.
