Eastvale Residents: Traffic Impacts to the Community Due to Local Events

In order to keep the City of Eastvale constituents informed, please be aware of the following events that may cause significant impacts to traffic and neighborhood streets.

Picnic in the Park:Traffic Advisory_Twitter_Updated

On June 23-25, 2017 Jurupa Community Services District Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the annual Picnic in the Park event East Eastvale Community Park. The event times will be Friday, June 23, 2017 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm; Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 2:00pm to 11:00pm; and Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 3:00pm to 10:00pm.

This 3-day event may draw thousands of event goers to the area and cause significant traffic impacts to the following areas:

  • Along Hamner Avenue between Limonite Avenue and 6th Street
  • Communities between Citrus Avenue and Schleisman Road

This also includes the following street closures:

  • Mayfield Street at Citrus Street
  • Carrollton Place at Citrus Street
  • Northview Street at Citrus Street

**Be advised that the Eastvale Community Park field will be closed for scheduled rehabilitation beginning on Monday June 26, 2017 for approximately 90-120 days. During this time, the park restrooms, trail and parking lot will remain open. For the full press release from JCSD, click here.**

Silver Lakes: 

On Saturday July 1, Silver Lakes in collaboration with the City of Norco, will be hosting a large event from 8:00am to 10:00pm drawing thousands of event goers to the area. The event may cause significant traffic impacts to the City of Eastvale in the following areas:

  • Along Hamner Avenue between Limonite Avenue and 6th Street
  • Communities between Citrus Avenue and Schleisman Road

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department will staff additional deputies assigned to patrol the area during the event.
